The 1st NED International Textile Conference – 2014 is organized by Textile Engineering Department, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. The NED University of Engineering and Technology is the oldest institution now in Pakistan for teaching and turning out Graduate Engineers. University presently offers undergraduate programmes in Twenty Five (25) Engineering disciplines along with one each in Architecture and in Computer Science and Information Technology. The 1st NED ITC 2014 aims to provide a forum for researchers from industry and academia around the globe to meet, share and disseminate latest research findings, developments and future trends of the fascinating world of textiles.  

The participants will benefit from international and local speakers, presenters, industrial and academic research groups and poster presentations covering almost all areas from conventional to technical textiles. The conference theme is research, innovation and development and venue is Karachi, the financial capital and biggest city of Pakistan - the fifth largest cotton producer in world. This would be a suitable opportunity for the researchers and industrial leaders to exchange ideas, latest developments and future prospects of collaboration in wondrous world of textiles.
